Administration

Office Hours:

Monday-Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM

Closed for Lunch: 12-1 PM

Our staff will be available to answer phone calls between 8:30 AM until noon and from 1PM until 5 PM Monday thru Thursday. At other times, you may leave a message for the appropriate person by following the prompts on the recorded message. Do not leave a message for a medical emergency or for an issue that requires a prompt response. In the event of an emergency, dial 911, or you can reach our answering service by dialing 571-4399. The number to our answering service is listed in the introductory message.

Laboratory Tests and x-ray results

Our staff will call you with results of any blood test, urine culture and x-ray studies. If we haven't been able to get in touch with you within a week of your test, please call our office and ask to speak to one of our clinical staff.

We request that your phone lines remain free so that we can return your call. Routine calls are best handled during business hours. Our office staff will answer your questions courteously and promptly. For routine questions, we reserve time each day after we've finished seeing patients to return phone calls.

Prescriptions

Please alert our staff of any allergies, and have the number of your pharmacy available each time you need a prescription. If you require renewal of prescription medication, please ask your pharmacist to fax a renewal of prescription medication request form to our office at 571-7627.

Hospital Affiliations

Dr. McClure, Dr. McRackan and Cheri Elliott have privileges at Rex Healthcare, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and Wake Medical Center New Bern and its affiliated locations in North Raleigh, Cary, and Apex. Some insurance plans require pre-certification and/or second opinion prior to surgery or admission to the hospital. They may also require utilization of a particular hospital to avoid reduced benefits. Please inform our office if your carrier has such a provision.
